Hwy 401 West from Kingston
or East from Toronto
Take County Rd #45 exit at Cobourg north (towards Norwood)
to the town of Roseneath (NOT Roseneath Landing Rd!)
go through Roseneath (don't blink or you'll miss it!). You'll pass the
fairgrounds and famous carousel on your right
Turn left on Halstead Rd. Turn left at the end of the road (4th Line). Next turn right on Island View Rd. at our big sign and enjoy the beautfiul view of Rice Lake on your way down the hill

Within a five minute drive are restaurants, a frozen food store, small liquor store and gas stations.
Hastings is a 20 minute drive North on #45 and has a grocery store (Value Mart) Royal bank, liquor and beer store and pharmacy.
Cobourg is a 30 minute drive South and has a shopping mall as well as most banks, several grocery stores, movie theatre, bowling alley.....etc.
Within a 30 minute drive there are several golf courses.
