BIG FISHING CONTEST
Alpine Resort runs a weekly big fish contest. Bring your catch to the store where we measure and photograph it. We encourage catch and release of the big ones as they are the breeders so will do our best to assist you in making sure your fish lives.
At the end of the week the largest small mouth bass, large mouth bass, and muskie gets a trophy or, new this year, a tee shirt. The largest of these plus crappie, perch and bluegill receive an annual trophy with your name on it. These are submitted to the Rice Lake Tourist Associations lake wide contest. If you win this your photo goes in the Rice Lake's the Place book and on the large trophy which Alpine gets to keep for a year.
