Greetings Everyone! We would like to thank everyone who came and stayed with us during our 2018 season. The weather has changed quickly and it’s time to close everything up! Where did the time go? The docks are on shore and the water lines are empty and the cottages are cleaned. The summer of 2018 was a typical Canadian summer, hot, hazy and humid! The fishing was great as is evidenced by the big fish winners.

The MNR is changing the way fishing licenses are issued. With the new equipment we are required to purchase, it is just not feasible for Alpine Resort to issue fishing licenses. Anita and Jodi thank you for your patience with us in the past but going forward Alpine will not be selling licenses. You can purchase your fishing license online before you arrive. For those of you who do not have access to the internet, we plan to have a computer and printer available for you to purchase them here. We will, however charge a nominal fee for the cost of ink and paper. Licenses can be purchased at https://www.ontario.ca/page/fishing. There is also a link on our web page,
We are truly blessed and thankful for such wonderful guests!
Best Wishes of health & happiness in 2019 from your friends at Alpine Resort on Rice Lake. We look forward to seeing you again!
