Area Attractions
If a vacation or get-a-way breather is more to your liking, you can visit Lang's Pioneer Village, the Peterborough Lift Locks, Serpent Mounds Provincial Park, Harwood Fish Culture Station or go antique shopping in nearby towns. Within 30 minutes of driving, there are golf courses, harness racing and a gambling casino, cinemas, shopping and dining. Links to area attractions can be found on the drop down menu above.
Toronto is only 90 minutes away. A day trip can be spent in the big city with all the excitement of the CN Tower, the Toronto Zoo, Science Centre or Canada's Wonderland.
You can drive or take the train and depend on Toronto's excellent transit system.
Our nation's capital, Ottawa, is only a 3 hour drive. Kingston is just 2 hours. We're accessible from ALL directions!
Some of our guests have been coming to Alpine Resort for 40 years. They started coming with their parents and are now bringing their own children.

Resort Facilities
Onsite is a small store selling live bait (worms), a limited selection of tackle, Big Cube Ice and firewood.
WE proudly serve hand scooped Ice Cream from Kawartha Dairy; a welcome treat on a hot day!
Wireless internet is available outside the store and inside the NEW upstairs lounge and downstairs game room. Great location to sit quietly or play a game of Crib or Euchre.
For family fun you can swim, fish or enjoy the free use of our canoes and kayaks on scenic Rice Lake or take a dip in the pool.
Enjoy the basketball and volley ball courts, horse shoe pits & large playground.
At night, when the sun sets, take a picture of our beautiful sunset or relax and spend the evening by your campfire in the quiet country atmosphere.

Two fish cleaning huts are free to use as well. ALL FISH CLEANING IS REQUIRED TO BE DONE HERE ONLY
FIREWOOD is available from the Red Pick up truck.
The Red Pickup Truck drives thru the Resort every afternoon between 4:30-6:00 with wood on board. You can also preorder and wood which will be dropped off at the above time. NO WOOD DELIVERED AFTER 7 PM
NOTE that it's ILLEGAL to transport firewood in Ontario. We sell it for a reasonable price.
